Why am I required to pay CA sales tax on bullion for orders under $2,000?
2023 1 oz American Gold Eagle
I thought bullion was tax free. Particularly because I don't need the government to know what I'm purchasing... If I can purchase my item(s) w/o paying sales tax, I'm all-in w/GoldClub Direct!

While in many states it is tax free, California is not one of them. Taxes are collected on sales of gold and silver bullion or numismatic coins if the transactions if less than $2,000. That being said, as long as your purchase is more than $2,000, your purchase is tax free!
